Megan Burford is an accomplished self-taught artist producing realism; depicting a subject as it appears in actuality, without distortion or stylisation. For contrast and variety she also enjoys a more painterly approach at times, veering towards representational art where the subject is less contoured and detailed but still a very recognisable form.

Megan's artwork has been included in many group exhibitions, being awarded prizes for detail and realism, including the Silver Longboat Art Competition and Dover Prize. Based in the North-East of England, she is an international selling artist with many of her paintings now hanging in private collections throughout the United Kingdom, the USA, Canada, France and Australia.
